The Yes I Can! Award acknowledges the achievements of children and youth with intensive supports (ages 5-22 years of age) who have overcome challenges or public misconceptions;
- Encourages children and youth with intensive needs to seek their highest potential; and
- Increases awareness of the abilities, aspirations, and personal qualities of people with intensive supports.
Nominees may be recognized for achievements in one of the following categories: academics, arts, athletics, community service, employment, extracurricular activity, independent living skills, technology, self-advocacy.
